The College of Education and External Studies has 4 libraries spread across 4 campuses i.e Kikuyu, Kenya Science, Mombasa and Kisumu. The Libraries are stocked with books in the field of education and allied areas.The Library provides services to both undergraduate and post graduate students as well as staff members at the College.

In recognition of the increased demand for and professionalization of education responses in and after emergencies, the University of Nairobi (UoN) in Kenya and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) are partnering to establish accredited Master’s and certificate programs for Education in Emergencies within the UoN’s School of Education.
Educational Administration is the process of acquiring and allocating resourses for the achievement predetermined educational of goals. Sutdents of Educational administration essentially study educational management which is a process of designing, developing and effecting educational objectives and allocating resources to advice the predetermined educational goal
