Nairobi Innovation Week

The University of Nairobi is planning the the 8th edition of Nairobi Innovation Week. The NIW 2024 will take place on May 8-10, 2024. This years' event is themed, ' Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem in Higher Education institutions through the Government-Academia-Industry-Community linkages for Sustainable Development.'

Designs and Implementation of Refugee’s – ready programs: Practices in Kenyan universities

The University of Nairobi, in collaboration with Moi and Kenyatta Universities, held a one-day workshop, consisting of 6 sessions with various activities, intended at providing opportunities for discussions and dialogue about implementation of refugee-targeted programs in Kenyan Universities.

Dr mutegi joined other eminent scholars and policy dialogue on Re-Calibrating Kenya’s Growth to Promote Inclusion and Productive Job Creation. He highlighted the education policies that promote equity leading to human capital development for all. Dr. Mutegi is a member of African Centre of Excellence in Inequality and Research (ACIER)
